About Me

Queen Mommy: I've been married almost 12 years to a fantastic guy, who is lovingly referred to by our daughters as King Daddy. We share our home with our 3 little princesses, a cat (Zoey), a parrot (Tinkerbell), and a variety of saltwater creatures. Elise, our oldest daughter, is 9. Leah and Lily (the twins) are 7. Lily was born with several structural anomalies (tracheal, esophageal, cardiac, and intestinal), relating to Vacterl or VATER Syndrome. She was hospitalized for 6 months before coming home with a trach, which she had for 18 months. Lily has had numerous surgeries in her young life, but she's doing very well now. She still has some gross motor, speech, and reflex delays. She still gets sick more easily than the average kid. But we're very blessed that she gets to grow up and live a relatively normal life. I like to bake, try out vegan recipes, read, crochet, go camping, travel (when we can squeeze it into the budget), and spend time with my family, all while carrying the camera around my neck.
