ND Trip

A couple of weeks ago, our whole family made the trip back to ND to visit my family, and go to my friend, Christy's wedding.

My friends, Julie, Christy (Johanna), and me.  The wedding was beautiful, and it was great seeing so many people.

On Sunday, we went to the Buffalo with my family.  For those not from ND, my hometown is home to the biggest cement buffalo.  They also have an Albino buffalo (a real, live one), which is kind of cool.  Plus, the albino buffalo had an albino calf recently (I believe it's a male calf, and I'm sure I'm not using appropriate terminology, but you'll have to forgive me).  We looked for them, but we couldn't see them that day.

Lily trying on daddy's new, trendy shades.  If you look carefully, you can see the sundog reflected in the lens.  It was amazing to see!

My sister's pose.

Group shot, well, most of us, anyway.

My parents were being extremely silly.  I don't even remember what my dad said, but then my mom was joking about biting his arm...

Keatyn seemed a bit unsure of the swings....

Grandma pushing Leah.

Me holding Baby Masen, and doing most of the camera work....

Back at home....Elise holding Baby Masen.  She was so good with him.  While Mark and I were at the wedding, Elise was holding him, and my sister said he got a little fussy.  Tarica asked if she should take him, and Elise said, "Let me see if I can handle it."  Then she told Masen, "I know I'm not your mommy, but I still really like you."  He stopped crying, and she held him for quite awhile, I guess.

Woohoo I am hot! Wait and I love the blog as well. Was so glad you and your hubby were able to make the wedding. If I had known that getting married would get so many people to visit Bismarck I would have "faked" a wedding years ago! ;-)

The girls are adorable.
