Next thing you know, you find yourself home with 3 small children (in 2 years), and all of the trials and joys that brings. You see God's hand working every day, in the big things and the small things.
You're so blessed to see Lily take her first steps at age 3, and you don't think you've ever been so excited!
Until you see the joy that lights up her face whenever she "runs."
And, it all leads up to this moment....
Hope it was worth the wait! It sure was for us.
Side note: Lily's first jump was yesterday, at age 5, exactly 2 years and 1 week after she took her first steps.
